The Tilehurst Surgery website is here to present all our patients with up to date news and information about our practices. We will keep it current with any developments or other details that we feel are relevant to you.
The Tilehurst Surgery is a training practice. We would like to extend a warm welcome to prospective Registrars and Medical Students who are considering spending some of their training time with us.
As well as a source of information about our practice, the staff and the services we provide, we hope you will use this website as a useful resource for other health-related information.

Your doctor recommends that you have a flu jab if you are 65 or over or have any of the following conditions (however old you are) or are pregnant:
Ø Serious heart or chest complaint including asthma
Ø Serious kidney disease
Ø Serious liver disease
Ø Diabetes
Ø Lowered immunity due to disease or steroid medication or cancer treatment
Ø You are a carer for an elderly or disabled person
We are always striving to improve our communication with patients and are now able to text appointment reminders. When you next come into the Surgery, don't forget to give the Receptionist your mobile phone number so that we can add it to your record.
